Unfortunately, the underground's poisonous fumes drove the Homunculi insane and transformed them into savage beasts.  You take on the role of Lilac, a "Attuner" with the ability to save the Homunculi. You awaken to discover that you are in a subterranean laboratory. There, you will meet the Homunculi who played a key role in the fall of the monarchy.
