Split Fiction is an adventure game designed especially for two cooperating players. It was developed by Hazelight Studios, known for the award-winning It Takes Two. Its successor lets players step into the shoes of Mia and Zoe, two writers with distinct specialties: fantasy and sci-fi. Their thrilling journey takes you through immersive worlds from both genres, offering a rich blend of gameplay variety and creativity.

New level, new challenge

Join Mia and Zoe on an epic journey through levels inspired by fantasy and science fiction universes. Along the way, you'll encounter dragons, robots, and even mischievous evil kittens. Friend's Pass

Similar to its predecessor, the game includes the Friend's Pass, enabling two players to play online together using just one copy of the game. Additionally, Split Fiction supports cross-platform play, allowing you to team up with another player no matter what gaming platform they use.

Release and platforms

Hazelight Studios revealed Split Fiction at The Game Awards 2024. The developer announced that the game would come out on March 6, 2025. Split Fiction is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
