It's going to be harder than you ever expected to stay in power and improve society while keeping an eye on the budget, the polls, and somehow finding time to keep an eye out for terrorist strikes.

In this strategy game, the results of your laws and policies determine how successful you are. You have the option to do away with all taxes and public spending. It could work or it could not, based on your approach. You can assume control of one of 10 nations as the president or prime minister in Democracy 4: Console Edition. After that, you will rule the nation as you see fit, all the while attempting to hold onto enough support to win reelection.
