History and fiction combine
Atomfall is an action-survival game set in Great Britain five years after the Windscale fire. In the game, this nuclear accident of 1957 has had much more severe consequences, turning Northern England into a quarantine zone. As a result, cults, rogue agencies, and other odd individuals have made it their home. You will explore this land, learning its secrets and trying to survive in the most mysterious corner of the United Kingdom.
Explore and survive
Exploring the quarantine zone is the key to discovering the real nature of the Windscale accident. You will reach picturesque valleys, caves, bunkers, and ruins, experiencing a unique journey where Cold War influence, British folklore, and sci-fi elements combine. Unfortunately, surviving in such a peculiar place is not easy. Strange cults and bandits believe that steel is the only argument. As a result, sometimes, combat is inevitable.
Leave your mark
You also have to make something out of nothing. Crafting lets you turn pieces of junk into helpful items and deadly weapons. Searching ruins and trading with other characters are also great ways to get valuable goods. Alternatively, you can treat everyone as prey. However, remember that every action and decision in Atomfall carries its consequences.
